grasp it was created by Greg and Fabian who want to make learning in science and engineering more effective, more accessible and more fun.
Dr Gregory Quinn is a design engineer & researcher who developed the idea for grasp it when teaching structural mechanics at university. He experienced first hand how students often struggle to grasp difficult scientific concepts. It was clear that there was lots of room for improvement in how science and engineering is taught.
Fabian Schneider is an architect and computer scientist with a passion for elegant design and simple UI. As a former student, Fabian experienced first hand the limitations in delivery methods when learning about structural engineering in architecture.
Greg and Fabian have been developing the ideas and technology behind grasp it for many years and in 2021 Augmented Haptics Ltd was founded in the UK.
grasp it has partnered with world-famous structural engineers atelier one to make this vision become a reality. Professor Neil Thomas MBE and Aran Chadwick bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the grasp it team.
grasp it will expand into many more STEM subjects including electronics, thermodynamics, computing and more. We’re just getting started...
